Field Trips

It is so important that our next generation of leaders have a firm understanding of the past. We open our doors throughout the year to school groups (both large and small) so that local students have a better understanding of their rich heritage in the East Texas Area.

Many of the surrounding schools in the Gregg County Area bring their 3^rd and 7^th Grade students to the Museum to learn about local Texas history, as well as to learn about world events (such as WWII) from the perspective of a small prospering town like Longview, Texas. We welcome all ages and grades as each of them will find excitement and educational value in the many exhibits of the Gregg County History Museum.
